    Fate, You Owe Me

A fierce reckoning with suffering, stolen dreams, and the refusal to remain broken by pain.

    Fate, you owe me
For every stolen breath of time,
For joy turned bitter, trapped in grime.
A life I never chose to wean,
Etched in every living trace of despair.

    Fate, you owe me big,
I sobbed till tears could bleed no more,
You crushed my soul, closed every door.
    Feelings walled, belonging denied,
You dragged me through, where hope had died.

    Fate, you owe me
For drowning dreams in quiet dread,
For promises whispered, then left unsaid.
You painted my future in shades of grey,
And stole the innocence of yesterday.

    Fate, you owe me still,
For turning peace to silent screams,
For haunting nights and shattered dreams,
Yet from your grip I try to flee,
To carve a life where liberty lies.

So, fate, hear this: the debt is mine no more
I have walked through fire, felt every score,
Yet here I stand, my spirit reclaimed,
No longer broken, no longer blamed.
